Symbology & Alchemy
As we move into late fall, and the celebration portal that is known as Samhain, it’s the time of year when the veil is thin between the worlds. There is an opportunity to hear our intuition more clearly. An opening exists to connect with the wisdom being shared from the natural world and our ancestors that have passed.
One of the clearest forms of communication from the unseen realms comes in the language of symbols, rather than the spoken word.
As the symbols of the natural world are welcomed closer to us, there is an exchange that occurs.
The symbols, fixed ideas, and possible distortions of the modern world or the culture as a whole can recede.
The natural symbols come close, and hold a resonance of truth. Within that resonance, that which never belonged to us is encouraged to move further out from us.
There’s a shielding, and a freeing.
There is an anchoring of truth.
Oneness with the natural world, of which we are a part.
Many animals begin to appear that can serve as guides into this passage of time, as we approach the colder months.
Fox is a companion animal that has been appearing lately in the periphery, lightly stepping along the perimeter of the woods and allowing me to see her for flashes of a second at a time. She matches the brilliance of the falling leaves, and is a wonderful reminder of the brilliance each one of us carries within.
Oak
Oak has been here since before humankind and is considered one of the elders of the plant kingdom. This sacred tree is deeply connected to strength and wisdom, and is a master of truth. Wearing an oak leaf close to your heart is said to anchor a person in their truth, making it difficult for the wearer to be deceived.
Acorn can be used as a natural dye. We created our custom channeled Wisdom Dress for infusing the properties of oak into a garment.
Marigold
Marigold can create an opening for communication with those who have passed, helping the love we shared with them remain present in our lives.
Marigold brings light to all situations. If you are dealing with a negative person or situation, welcome Marigold close to you and she will do the work of lifting the energy around you. She transmits the sunshine held within her and is a way-shower for us to share our own light in a similar way.
